How to make Delicious egg korma recipe | egg gravy recipe | Mutai kulambu in tamil

 

                                    Let us see how poached eggs (egg korma) can be made in Indian style

when i tried this, using coconut am making this korma, this is called "poached egg curry", if you like this, you can start making this dish for the morning breakfast. Do it fresh and take mediately, not to keep it in fridge and again reheat and eating will not give taste. If you do it and eat freshly, it will be an amazing taste. We can have it in morning breakfast along with idly, dosa, chapati and puree, for night dinner also.

 INGRADIENTS:

Egg – 2 nos

Oil – 2 to 3 tspb

chopped onion - 2 pieces ( longer size)

chopped tomato - 1 piece (small sliced in longer size)

green chilli -  2 pieces

ginger-garlic paste – 2 tspb

mint leaf -  1 spring

coriander -  1 spring

curry leaf – 1 spring

required salt – ½ tspb

Cinnamon bark – 2 pieces

clove -2 pieces

cardamom – 2 pieces

pepper powder - 1-1/2 tspb

 for korma, grinded masala are

coconut milk – 100ml

Bengal Gram - 50g


preparation time: 15 min

Cooking time: 20 min

Serve size: 2 persons

COOKING COMMENTARY:

 Ignite the stove. Add 2 to 3 table spoons of oil and add 2 small pieces of cardamom, clove two pieces. Now am going to add two onion cut in longer sizes. Let onion sauté well. No need to sauté till turn into golden brown colour. The smell of Cinnamon bark, clove, cardamom will be so rich, we should sauté in such a way. But no need to sauté till turn into golden brown colour. The important ingredients are coconut, Bengal-gram. Let's we grind and add in this, when we add coconut, Bengal-gram without adding artificial colour. Add only turmeric powder and grind. Now let's we add curry leaf, adding curry leaf leading good smell. Now we add tomato. I have chopped one tomato after adding tomato, add grinded ginger-garlic paste and sauté until raw smell of ginger-garlic paste to vanish.

Let’s we cover it. cooked well. Raw smell of ginger-garlic is also gone. Next, we add green chilli to impart hotness in the dish. So, am adding 4 pieces of mint leaf. If you want good flavour, add mint leaf for those who need can add this. Add coriander that smells good, add mint leaf, coriander, ginger-garlic paste as doing for biryani, good smell comes. As I already told you, grinded coconut and Bengal-gram along with turmeric powder mixing all these grinded and kept. Water has to added according to the need of dish. So, add water and keep it in sim mode and add finally add salt. This is first stage adding salt and boil it in sim mode. We have completed the first stage now.

Next stage is the poached eggs. I kept another pan, in this add one litre of water and boil it well. now we see, water got boiled, now we are going to add salt we Add salt and stir it well. while stirring take care of you. I already smashed one egg and am putting that one. Wait for 2 to 3 minutes let egg will boil well. now you see, the egg got boiled well and not broken. Transfer this egg on a plate. similarly put next egg also. After putting the eggs, keep the stove in sim mode

Add eggs according to one person takes. Let’s we take two eggs. Now korma got cooked well. again, place the korma that we have done at first stage in stove. If find water excess you can remove it. Egg got boiled well without a drop of oil. Add pepper in this. Now we are transferring the eggs into the dish that we have done. Normally if we pour egg directly, will give raw smell, that’s why we use poached eggs. Let egg boil and transfer it. So, we have finished the korma or it is called poached egg curry. Poached egg curry is over. We can have the dish along with idly, dosa, chapati and puree.  We call it as fusion food.  I have done this poached egg korma in Indo-western style. As I told you earlier, if we take this along idly, dosa, chapati, puree, it will be so delicious.

 

Important is to cook freshly and take. not to store or reheat. So, right from kitchen to the table. if you take, this dish will be amazing taste.
