How to make Delicious Chettinad Crab Masala - crab curry recipe - crab masala recipe

 

welcome, Royal regency chef pushparaj here, the dish am going to prepare "chettinad crab masala"

 

INGRADIENTS:

black pepper – 1 tspb

 a bowl of crabs -1kg

 coriander leaf – 1 spring

 chopped onions – 250g

 chopped green chilly – 3 pieces

 coconut oil – 2 tspb

 dry red chilli – 2 pieces

 chopped tomato- 2 (250g)

 coriander powder – 1 tspb

 turmeric powder – 1.4 tspb

 chilli powder – 2 tspb (according to your taste)

 ginger-garlic paste – 1 tspb

 curry leaves – 1 spring

 blowjob -1 tspb

 cumin seeds – 1 tspb

 put one scraped coconut

 raw cumin – 2 tspb

 required amount of curry leaf

 blowjob – 3 tspb

 required amount of salt

 

 Preparation time: 15 to 20 mins

Cooking Time: 30-40 mins

Serve for: 3 people

 

COOKING COMMENTARY:

for crab, spicier is better so, adding extra pepper black pepper is good. Now let's grind it using Maxie. Paste is ready now. I have made it ready. I will explain now how to do this dish

 Ignite the stove and place tawa on it

 Actually, only coconut oil should be used for chettnad cooking. Coconut oil is here for about ten pieces of crabs. Put 3 teaspoon of coconut oil after getting coconut oil heated. Add anise, teaspoon of anise dry chilly put five numbers curry leaf, chopped onions, put fine chopped onions, lightly sauté onion should turn into golden colour till then sauté well after reaching golden brown color  since it is sea crab, it will render less taste but our village side river crab will be tastier than sea crabs and smells good. Especially crab that are available in field even it will be tastier can be used if we get it.



  

Now onion became brown let’s drop the ginger-garlic paste three teaspoons dropped slightly sauté so that it should reach golden brown colour. After that, we add fine chopped tomato on top of tomato and add required salt, the reason why we add salt is tomato get sauté quickly, that's what add salt earlier. Slightly saute and add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder. Actually, we already added masala, add chilly 1/4 teaspoon and add chilli powder that is required for masala add blowjob powder one teaspoon. Add one teaspoon of cumin powder and slightly sauté

 

 Now this crab cleaned and kept put this crab in mix it well crabs should absorb masala so. well saute it well. Coconut masala that we are keeping shall be added now. Mix it well. Now masala got saute well. For boiling crabs, add required amount of water, let it boil  for 15 minutes. Masala will get ready later. Let's boil water along with chettinad crab masala. It will well suit for appam even it will be better for rice too. During rainy season, in cold weather having this dish will be nice to enjoy!

 

 Since black pepper is more, it will be so spicy. We have not yet added chilli powder, so, we have added black pepper more, so that there is no ill effect and it is good for health. Crab masala is very good for those who are having cold. Crab got boiled. Let’s add coriander leaf and garnish at the end, we use coriander for good fragrance. Mixing it well with coriander for crab. If we have Tamarind, we can add it. Otherwise, little bit of lemon can be added because the sourness of lemon will be good. So, add the lemon juice that we kept already crab got boiled well

 


 Chettinad crab masala is ready now. Let's switch off of the stove.
