welcome. am Sangeetha, now we are going to
see the recipe which is kids favorite Delicious dish "ghee rice with green peas". Let's
see how to do this according to kids taste
INGRADIENTS:
basmati or see raga samba rice – 2 cups (one-hour soaking is enough)
Oil – 3 tsp
Star Anise – 2 pieces
Clove – 4 pieces
Cardamom – 3 to 4 pieces
Cinnamon – 2 pieces
biryani leaf – 2 pieces
pepper corns -10 nos
peas – 1/2 cup
chopped onion – 3 to 4 big onion
coconut milk – 3 glass
green chilli – 4 pieces (long slitted)
chopped garlic – 2 pieces
ghee – 2 tsp
salt – to taste
preparation time: 60 min.
Cooking time - 20 min
Serve size - 3 to 4 persons
COOKING COMMENTARY:
Now let’s see how to make, drop some oil, add
some ghee since its ghee rice, actually it is peas and ghee rice. So,
drop ghee more than oil. After the ghee got heated, add cinnamon two pieces, little
bit of anise, add 3 to 4 Cardamom, 2 pieces of add biryani leaf.
Now let’s add rice. Am using see-raga samba
rice now, ghee rice will be good in both see-raga samba rice as well as basmati
rice. If you want any ingredient along with this, we can even add pannier fried
in ghee. I have grinded the coconut and extracted the milk and kept. We have to
add it. Since we are using 2 cups of rice, I dropped three glass of water. So,
lets now cover it and put weight. Soon after getting one whistle, keep it for 5
minutes in sim and switch off the stove and delicious ghee rice will now
become ready. Got ready, lets open and check now, nice flavour is coming.
Now we serve in a plate. If you use correct
amount of water, you will get like this as drop-out manner. Similarly, make
delicious ghee rice at home and taste it along with ‘pakora korma’,
a nice side dish for this or we can take ‘chicken gravy ‘or ‘mutton gravy’
in non-veg dish it is also suitable for this
